About the work party leaders...
Carolyn Foster (below) is a 2015 graduate of the Community, Environment, and Planning undergraduate degree program at UW and also minored in Environmental Science and Resource Management. She is passionate about community-based ecological restoration, environmental education, and community engagement. Carolyn's favorite thing about Yesler Swamp is the lookout from the West Lagoon. She is also a Green Seattle Partnership Forest Steward. Tyler Licata (right) is a 2015 graduate of the Community, Environment, and Planning undergraduate degree program at UW. He is interested in energy efficient construction, low impact environmental design techniques, and urban greenspace preservation. Tyler's favorite thing about Yesler Swamp is seeing how the boardwalk construction has changed every time he visits! |
